  • Skin laxity and thin skin

Also known as collagen induction therapy, microchanneling and microneedling provide impressive regenerative, corrective, and anti-aging results that are similar to and often even better than those obtained with laser treatments. All with less damage, less downtime and lower cost.

Lynne is certified in the proprietary Skn Deep™ Targeted Scar Therapy method using a variety of devices and needles to address scar tissue such as acne scarring, stretch marks, surgical scarring, trauma scarring and burn scarring. This method is superior to traditional microneedling in isolating, targeting and reducing deeper wrinkles, scars and stretch marks.

Lynne is one of a select team of SKN Deep Certified practitioners throughout the country, and the first in the Pacific NW to receive this sought after advanced scar therapy certification. Please see the Scar Revision and Stretchmark Therapy services page for more information.

Growth Factor Stem Cell Serums

Microchannels also enhance the skin’s ability to absorb the most advanced medical grade topical serums. The ProCell and AnteAge full line of serums contain a unique formulation of powerful growth factors derived from stem cells. The source of the growth factors are naturally anti-inflammatory, making them superior to other sources of growth factors such as adipose stem cells (inflammatory in nature), plant stem cells (which are not native to the human body), and PRP, which contains the stem cells and growth factors of the person receiving the treatment.

Microneedling vs. PRP

With PRP, the microneedling part of the procedure is highly effective, however the growth factors in the platelet rich plasma from the client are typically less capable of the regenerative process due to the natural sharp decline in number of growth factors and stem cells produced naturally as we age. It’s like telling an old cell that it needs to act like it’s young and it’s just not as effective without a more potent cellular bio-signal. These supercharged growth-factor serums multiply the results, promote more youthful-looking skin and can lead to quicker recovery times from procedures.

The science of microneedling and microchanneling is based on traditional skin “needling”. An FDA Registered microneedling device creates tiny perforations or channels in the epidermis and dermis, which triggers a natural wound healing response in the skin. Powerful topical stem cell growth factors that act as a bio-signal are applied to amplify the results with increased collagen and elastin production. Microneedling leaves the skin looking smoother, tighter, and more luminous.
